The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ricci.
Ricci tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

kyeyune is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

kyeyune wants to control but Ricci is keeping busy.

kyeyune is looking for a sweep. Ricci is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ricci stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
kyeyune tries for a takedown but Ricci circles away easily

and Ricci counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in kyeyune's guard now.

Ricci wants to control from the top but kyeyune keeps moving.

Ricci drops back looking for a leg! kyeyune is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and kyeyune manages to kick Ricci off! Ricci jumps back into kyeyune's guard.

kyeyune had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ricci is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. kyeyune Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ricci's back instead.

Ricci won't enjoy being in this position. kyeyune looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Ricci is tapping - it's over boys! kyeyune picks up the submission victory!
