PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Arvi Rausku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jun Xian Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rausku comes to the cage accompanied by Notkea Rotta - Taas Lähtee Taju . Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Axe Puzzles - Lord Quas. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rausku tries for a takedown but Lee circles away easily
and Lee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rausku takes a jab right on the kisser.
Rausku will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee leaves Rausku with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Rausku enables Lee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rausku manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee stands and throws Rausku's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee throws a nice looking combination but Rausku bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Lee.
Rausku moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

and Lee counters with a low kick, right behind Rausku 's knee.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rausku tries to score a body lock takedown but Lee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Arvi Rausku has been cut.
Arvi Rausku is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lee throws the left hand but Rausku avoids the punch easily.
Lee tries for a takedown but Rausku sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rausku is trying hard to land a takedown here. Lee sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Lee fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rausku takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Rausku tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rausku somewhat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Rausku is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Lee frees his head nicely. Oh but Rausku has switched to an armbar! Lee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

A determined Arvi Rausku didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
