Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Garry Cancova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Nukem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duke Nukem has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Garry Cancova!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duke Nukem!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukem throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A swing and a miss from Cancova.
Cancova fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cancova throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nukem stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nukem avoids a punch combination nicely.

Cancova drives through and clinches with Nukem against the cage.

Nukem decides to pull guard.
Nukem lands a decent punch to the body there.

Cancova is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nukem is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nukem has escaped and now he's on top!

Cancova has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nukem can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Nukem keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cancova's head.

Cancova is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Nukem working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Cancova has a closed guard, preventing Nukem from standing up.

Nukem would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Nukem is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cancova pushes a forearm under Nukem's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Nukem is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
