Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gray Vick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vick tries for a takedown but Gordon circles away easily
and Gordon counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vick thinking.
Vick misses with a jab to the body
and Gordon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Vick shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gordon sprawls well. Gordon wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vick gets slowly back to his feet.
Vick throws a looping overhand right but Gordon ducks down to avoid it.
Gordon defending well as Vick loads up on a big left hand.
Vick misses with a left hand

and Gordon counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Gordon wants to stand up but Vick has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Vick is pressing down on Gordon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gordon working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vick's head.

Gordon wanted to stand there but Vick had control of the position.

Gordon is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vick has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gordon is looking to defend but Vick has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gordon! Vick pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gordon taps out and this one is all over!
