The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poirier throws a jab when Samurai was well out of range.
Samurai walks into a jab.
Samurai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Poirier paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Samurai pushes Poirier up against the cage in a clinch.
Poirier can't break the clinch.
Samurai throws a knee to the head but misses.
Samurai manages to break the clinch.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Poirier knocks Samurai out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
