Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lord Stavenger McRon Vaseline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Troy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Troy with that takedown attempt.
McRon Vaseline shoots and misses

and Troy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

McRon Vaseline is trying to trip Troy. He has hold of a leg but Troy is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. McRon Vaseline persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Troy has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. McRon Vaseline is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Troy wants to control the action here but instead McRon Vaseline manages to pass to full mount!

Troy gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows McRon Vaseline to score an easy takedown into full guard.

McRon Vaseline has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Troy is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Troy bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McRon Vaseline's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Troy is trying to control but can't.
McRon Vaseline wants to lay and pray for a moment but Troy keeps working.

Troy is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and McRon Vaseline has latched onto it... Big trouble! McRon Vaseline pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Troy is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from McRon Vaseline!
