The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Den misses with a jab, cross combination.
Maicon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Den misses with an uppercut. Maicon saw that one coming.
Den misses with a hook. Maicon ducked under it nicely.
Den misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Maicon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Maicon tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Den.

Maicon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Den is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
