PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Argus Clotho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Pryor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pryor comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Walk Like an Egyptian kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clotho fails with a takedown attempt.
Clotho shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pryor pinned against the cage. Pryor gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pryor closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Clotho's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Clotho looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Clotho is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pryor looking to control but Clotho passes into half guard.
Pryor is trying to stand back up but Clotho is controlling him
Clotho perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Pryor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Clotho moves nicely into side control.

Clotho is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pryor is trying to escape and Clotho transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pryor is forced to tap! Nice work there by Clotho! Very nice indeed!
