Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jones Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ebenezer Scrooge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scrooge dips to his left and cracks Crosby with an uppercut!
Scrooge connects with a nice looking jab.

Scrooge shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Crosby napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Scrooge stands up and beckons Crosby to his feet.

Scrooge feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Scrooge tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scrooge has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Scrooge has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

The fighters circle momentarily. Scrooge darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Scrooge throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crosby tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Scrooge is in Crosby's guard.
Crosby is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Oooooh!!! Scrooge has knocked Crosby down with a huge combo! Scrooge steps away and waves a wobbly Crosby back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Scrooge finds Crosby's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Crosby flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Scrooge lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Crosby will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ebenezer Scrooge!
Ebenezer Scrooge was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
