Chonin has chosen The End is Near as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassius throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chonin's waist but Chonin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cassius off to one side.
Cassius fails with the takedown.

Cassius scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Cassius looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Chonin is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cassius is controlling him well.

Cassius is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Chonin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cassius gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Chonin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cassius lets go of the hold and Chonin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
