The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holman moves into the clinch successfully.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Holman.

It looks like Brad Brennan has been cut.
Holman is trying to push Brennan away but Brennan has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Brennan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Brennan is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Holman to keep the fight standing.
Brennan tries to break the clinch but Holman is controlling the position.
Brennan wants to get back to striking at distance but Holman won't allow it.
Holman presses Brennan against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Brennan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Holman lands a left hand that snaps the head of Brennan backwards.
Brennan goes for a takedown in the clinch but Holman prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Brennan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brennan is breathing heavily.

Holman's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Brennan tries to keep at a distance but Holman has taken the fight into the clinch.
