The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cosenza walks forward, straight into a front kick from Cadmea.
Cosenza closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Cadmea quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cosenza tries to pass to full mount but Cadmea defends it.
Cadmea tries to get to full guard but Cosenza has control of the leg.
Cadmea looks like he's trying to stand up.
Cosenza is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Cadmea is looking to control Cosenza's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cadmea avoid being mounted?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cosenza is really struggling to control Cadmea but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Alaric Cosenza wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
