Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Hulse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Travers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Wayne Travers!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hulse moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Travers missing with a left hand there. Hulse was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Hulse shoots in and gets a takedown into Travers's guard.
Hulse is stalling in the full guard.
Hulse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Travers swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hulse seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Kyle Hulse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hulse is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Travers's half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hulse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Travers for as long as he can get away with.
Hulse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Wayne Travers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Travers might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hulse haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

No luck for Travers with that takedown attempt.
Hulse shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Travers eats them both and turns towards Hulse to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hulse closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Hulse tries to bum rush Travers with a series of wild strikes but Travers uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Travers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hulse tries to avoid it but Travers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hulse to the ground. Hulse escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hulse scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kyle Hulse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Travers closes the distance and clinches up with Hulse, looking for a takedown. Travers pushes Hulse against the cage but Hulse circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hulse wants to get up but he can't break Travers's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Travers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hulse gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hulse in particular looking to stall.
Hulse is keen to just control but Travers is a slippery customer.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
