Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hathaway cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Smith throws a hook to the side of Hathaway's head but Hathaway sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hathaway slips under a jab.
Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Smith avoids the head kick by Hathaway.
Daniel Hathaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hathaway.
Hathaway throws a hook but Smith avoids it easily.
Smith misses with the combination.
Hathaway will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Smith scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Daniel Hathaway has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smith slips a jab from Hathaway.
Hathaway sizes up Smith with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hathaway dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Hathaway uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Smith has time to react.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Hathaway.
Hathaway swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.
No joy there for Hathaway, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hathaway fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Hathaway lands with a big left! Smith is wobbled badly! Hathaway comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Smith to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Daniel Hathaway!
