Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Shawn Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jaakko Parantainen!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parantainen defending well as Jackson loads up on a big left hand.
Jackson plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jackson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Parantainen steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jackson. That one must have hurt.
Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Jackson lands a really nice looking cross but Parantainen seems unphased.
Jackson throws out a loose jab but Parantainen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jackson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jackson throws a leg kick which misses Parantainen's front leg but catches the back leg as Parantainen tries to avoid it.
Parantainen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Parantainen on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Parantainen is rocked!

Parantainen ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.

Jackson throws a head kick but Parantainen moves out of range.
Jackson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Parantainen is still on wobbly legs! Can Jackson finish him?
Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Parantainen seems to have recovered his senses.
Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parantainen paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A head kick misses from Jackson.
Parantainen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jackson drops Parantainen with a left right combo! Jackson follows him down to the ground into side control.

Parantainen is trying to improve his position.

Jackson decides to stand back up. Jackson steps back and let's Parantainen get back to his feet.
Parantainen avoids the body shot from Jackson.
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.

Jackson closes the distance and clinches.

Jackson manages to break the clinch.
A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target.
Jackson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jackson feints and then cracks Parantainen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Parantainen down.
Shawn Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A lazy left from Jackson finds it's target.
Jackson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Parantainen gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Parantainen momentarily.
Parantainen checks a low kick from Jackson.
Jackson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Jackson throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Parantainen stumbling backwards into the cage! Parantainen bounces back off the cage towards Jackson, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Jackson lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Jackson celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
