Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marshal Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Sloggett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law comes to the cage accompanied by Eye Of The Tiger. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Law throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Sloggett is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Law's half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Sloggett looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Law is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sloggett pulls his head out easily.

Sloggett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Law. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Law pushes Sloggett off looking to stand but Sloggett dives back in and keeps control.

Sloggett is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

It looks like Sloggett might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
