The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keurhorst is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Keurhorst is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Blue with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Blue keeps the fight on the outside.

Blue goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Blue gets in close and instigates a clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Keurhorst tries to grapple but his opponent circles

so Blue counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Blue drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Blue jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Keurhorst will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

No joy there for Keurhorst, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Blue feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
