PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shaun Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russell comes into the arena with LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock You Out blaring out of the sound system. Shaun Russell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Austin Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russell listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Russell keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Russell gets caught flat footed, as Anderson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Russell controls Anderson momentarily but Anderson frees himself.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Anderson is on top in guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
