Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Gypsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and White Sons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White Sons has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Gypsy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, White Sons!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gypsy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sons to the ground. Gypsy is now in Sons's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Gypsy looking to pass the guard.

Sons looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Sons keeping moving, preventing Gypsy from controlling successfully.
Sons throwing rabbit punches from the bottom - showing the judges that he's keeping busy.
Sons throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Gypsy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sons has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gypsy has managed to get both his arms back between Sons's legs - danger averted.
Gypsy postures up in Sons's guard and throws a big left but Sons blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sons is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gypsy defends well.
Gypsy might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Gypsy tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gypsy has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Sons manages to get back to half guard.
Sons is staying active underneath Gypsy, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Gypsy is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sons!
Sons is desperately trying to improve his position but Gypsy has a good base and remains in mount.
Sons regains half guard.
Sons is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Gypsy slips a nice elbow through Sons's hands, connecting with Sons's forehead.

Gypsy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Gypsy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sons is just riding it out for now. Gypsy eventually gives up the hold.
Sons is looking to improve his position.

Gypsy is trying to control. Sons wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Sons working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gypsy doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gypsy manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but White Sons will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Gypsy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Gypsy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Sons is striking but Gypsy is not phased and passes to half guard.

Gypsy is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sons can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Sons is squirming around, avoiding Gypsy's attempts to control the action.
