Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pachi Wellington (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simple Mann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Wellington tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mann swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Wellington looks for a takedown but Mann sprawls well.
Mann drops his hands momentarily and Wellington takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wellington connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mann's hands.
Mann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Wellington shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Mann defends it nicely.

Nice sprawl there from Mann as Wellington shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pachi Wellington. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wellington throws a hook to the side of Mann's head but Mann sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Wellington misses with a left hand

and Mann counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Wellington's guard now.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wellington is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mann defends well.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mann stands up over Wellington, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Mann lands a couple of elbows.
Mann trying to move into half guard but instead Wellington has managed to sweep!
Wellington wants to pass the guard but Mann is keeping the position.
Wellington trying to control but Mann is working from the bottom.
Wellington stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mann swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wellington thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mann wants to stand but Wellington is controlling the position.
Mann is looking to stand back up but Wellington counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mann.
Mann wants to get back to his feet.

Wellington maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Mann could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wellington has cracked it and Mann is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wellington!
