Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Renato Laranja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and RV Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Malapitan as he connects with a hook.
Laranja dives in and grabs Malapitan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malapitan pushes down on Laranja's head and hops out.
Malapitan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Laranja shoots in for a takedown but Malapitan shows good takedown defense.

Laranja shoots in for a double leg but Malapitan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Laranja with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Malapitan to score with a decent uppercut.

Malapitan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Laranja.
Laranja is trying to drag Malapitan to the mat but Malapitan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Laranja escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Renato Laranja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malapitan scores with a one two! Laranja had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Laranja tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Malapitan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Laranja shoots in but Malapitan avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Laranja shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Malapitan sprawls well. Malapitan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Laranja gets slowly back to his feet.

Malapitan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Malapitan stuffs the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Malapitan cracks Laranja with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Laranja looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Malapitan finish him?

Laranja is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Malapitan ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Laranja out cold! The fight is over!
