Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yun Fat Chow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Toddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Toddler has chosen Todd Terry - House Is A Feeling [1991] as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yun Fat Chow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Terry Toddler!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Toddler uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Toddler throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Chow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Toddler is in Chow's guard.

Toddler might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Toddler shoots in for a double leg but Chow sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Chow lands with a hook. Toddler tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Chow throws a looping overhand right but Toddler ducks down to avoid it.

Chow moves into range and clinches up with Toddler.
Toddler is looking to control Chow's arms but Chow gets an underhook and turns him. Now Toddler has his back to the ropes.
Chow misses with a hook to the ribs.
Toddler has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Chow looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A short right from Chow on the inside.
Chow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Chow throws a punch but it's blocked by Toddler.
Chow stops a takedown attempt from Toddler.
Toddler blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Chow tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Toddler avoids it.

Chow lands with a short shot to the head.
Chow tries to work over Toddler's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Chow comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Toddler manages to break the clinch.
Chow takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Chow connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Chow lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Yun Fat Chow is winning the standup battle so far.
Chow throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Toddler sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chow thuds a left hand into Toddler's body.
Toddler stalks Chow and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chow's face. Chow staggers backwards, shaken.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Nice straight punches there by Chow. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chow.
Chow scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Toddler takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

so Toddler counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Chow's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Chow bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Toddler's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
