Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Liberius Beowulf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barbados Slim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liberius Beowulf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Liberius Beowulf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slim checks a leg kick nicely.
Beowulf throws a looping overhand right but Slim ducks down to avoid it.

Beowulf throws a leg kick but Slim sees it coming and moves out of range.
Beowulf swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Some bone on bone action there as Slim checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Beowulf fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slim manages to avoid it.
Beowulf takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Beowulf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Slim has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Beowulf does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Beowulf walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Slim checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Slim avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Beowulf throws a low kick but Slim avoids it.
Beowulf fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Slim.

Beowulf throws a chopping leg kick but Slim manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Slim on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Beowulf dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Slim. That did some damage!

Beowulf feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Slim's calf.
Beowulf takes a swing at Slim's ribcage but misses.
Slim shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beowulf as he jumps to the side.
Beowulf feints and then cracks Slim's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Slim down.
Slim looks winded!
Beowulf avoids the body shot from Slim.
Crunch! Beowulf slams his shin into Slim's torso.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Beowulf throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Beowulf throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Slim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beowulf.

Beowulf lands with a thumping leg kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Beowulf finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Beowulf lands a high kick to the side of Slim's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Beowulf dives into guard, looking to finish.

Slim is rocked!

It looks like Barbados Slim has been cut.
Beowulf controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Slim is still in real trouble! Can Beowulf finish him?
Beowulf working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Slim seems to have recovered his senses.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Beowulf wants to stand but Slim is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Liberius Beowulf dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Slim has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Beowulf.
Slim has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Beowulf.

Slim throws out a loose jab but Beowulf uses good head movement to avoid it.

Slim chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Beowulf can pounce on him.

Look low, kick high! Beowulf uses the oldest trick in the book to send Slim tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Beowulf is absolutely delighted - when Slim wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
