Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Knox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knox moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Knox scores with a one two! Jones had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Knox is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Knox throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Good leg kick by Knox there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Knox scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Knox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Knox somewhat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Matthew Jones will probably get the nod.

I would just about give that final round to Brian Knox.
Well Knox has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
