The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hedaros instigates a clinch.

Hedaros is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Horton can't fight it off and eventually Hedaros manages to take the fight to the floor. Horton looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hedaros tries to free his leg and advance position but Horton is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hedaros is looking to work some ground and pound but Horton has wrist control.

Horton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hedaros gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hedaros trying to stand up but can't free himself from Horton's guard.
Hedaros seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Horton keeping moving, preventing Hedaros from controlling successfully.

Horton is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hedaros rolls with it to try and escape but Horton cranks on the arm and Hedaros is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
