Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steven Stepp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mayo Kermode!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kermode misses with an uppercut
and Kermode takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Kermode tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stepp paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Stepp closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kermode to the mat! Kermode manages to get full guard.
Stepp loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kermode utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Stepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Kermode sprawls well. He's pushed Stepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kermode is pressed up against the cage. Stepp has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kermode down to the mat. Kermode avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Kermode tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Stepp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mayo Kermode is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

After winning the bout, Mayo Kermode thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
