Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Alves misses with a takedown attempt - Troy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Alves scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Alves tries for a takedown but Troy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Alves throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Troy's waist but Troy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alves off to one side.
Hektor Troy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leandro Alves.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Troy gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Troy knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alves on the ground.

Alves stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Troy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alves bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Troy's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Troy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Alves was well out of range. Poor timing from Troy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Alves takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Alves clobbers Troy with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Troy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alves swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Troy moves forwards but Alves connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Alves misses with a double jab.
Troy doesn't manage to clinch there - Alves circles away.
Alves changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Troy tries to avoid it but Alves manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Troy to the ground. Troy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alves tries a low kick but Troy avoids it.
A slow jab from Alves misses its intended target.
Alves lands the left hand.
Alves fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Troy takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Alves throws a low kick, looking for Troy's leg but Troy calmly moves out of range.

Troy gets a clinch.
Alves scores with a shot to the side of Troy's head.
Troy digs a right hand into Alves's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Alves's gas tank.
Alves lands a shot to the body.

Alves pulls Troy into guard.

Alves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Troy defends it easily.
Alves avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Troy is sitting in close to Alves's body. Alves has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Troy is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Troy is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Alves.
