The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Rivera misses.
Biggs stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rivera.
Biggs feints and as Rivera raises his hands in defense, Biggs changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Rivera is trying to control the position but Biggs postures up.
Biggs won't allow Rivera to get back to his feet.
Biggs makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Biggs throws a big right hand that misses.
Biggs is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Rivera looking for a triangle here. Biggs is fighting it but it looks tight! Rivera pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Biggs is tapping out - this one is all over!

A relieved looking Buddie Rivera thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
