Spencer is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Country Boy Can Survive. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Guster Spencer enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Hoffman.
Spencer takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Hoffman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Spencer moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

It looks like Guster Spencer has been cut.
Spencer ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hoffman misses with a body punch
and Spencer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Spencer fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Spencer has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Hoffman.
Nice straight punches there by Hoffman. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Hoffman.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spencer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hoffman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Elijah Hoffman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoffman throws a hook but Spencer avoids it easily.
Hoffman tests Spencer's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hoffman moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hoffman stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Spencer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Elijah Hoffman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guster Spencer.

Spencer is rocked!
Hoffman closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Spencer! Hoffman dives in looking to finish! Spencer is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
