Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Uppen Comer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Durk Tent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Uppen Comer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Durk Tent!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tent misses with a low kick.
Comer misses with a wild body shot.

Tent drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Comer is looking for a sweep.
Comer throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Comer tries to bench press Tent off him but Tent keeps the position.

Tent looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Tent advances to full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Comer working to try and regain half guard.
Comer sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Tent wants to lay and pray for a moment but Comer keeps working.

Tent wants to pass the guard but Comer is defending well.

Comer gets back to full guard.
Tent throws a big elbow that misses.
Comer trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Tent looking to sit in guard and control but Comer gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tent throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Comer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tent is proving hard to escape from.

Tent is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Tent throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Comer escapes and throws Tent's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The referee asks Comer politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Comer prefers to stall for the moment though.

Comer stands up.

Tent shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Comer pinned against the cage. Comer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Comer wants to clinch.

Comer drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Comer wants to pass the guard but Tent is keeping the position.

Tent gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Comer to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Comer changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tent looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

No joy there for Tent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Comer dives in and scores a takedown into Tent's guard.

Comer darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Comer stands up and beckons Tent to join him on the feet.
Tent is looking to clinch.

Tent closes the distance and clinches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tent tightens his grip and picks Comer up, before dumping him to the ground. Comer manages to land in guard.
Comer keeping moving, preventing Tent from controlling successfully.

Tent loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Comer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Comer pushes Tent off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tent throws a right hand that Comer ducks under and follows up with a left that Comer also avoids with ease.

Comer shoots in and bounces Tent off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Tent escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Comer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Comer postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Comer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tent's guard.

Comer is working for a submission of some sort.
Comer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Comer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Tent wants to improve his position but Comer is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Comer in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Comer trying to work for an americana but Tent has managed to regain full guard.

Comer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Tent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Comer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tent somewhat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Comer closes the distance and clinches up with Tent, looking for a takedown. Comer pushes Tent against the cage but Tent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Uppen Comer showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Comer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
