Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bad Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiny McSmalls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McSmalls clinches.
Dog is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

McSmalls pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McSmalls throws a series of strikes that have Dog backpedaling.

McSmalls has managed to clinch.

McSmalls pulls guard effortlessly.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McSmalls is on top in guard.
Dog has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but McSmalls has passed into side control.
Dog tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McSmalls wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Dog wants to control but McSmalls postures up.

McSmalls remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

McSmalls will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McSmalls looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now McSmalls is on top in guard.

Dog can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McSmalls controls the pace.

Dog looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McSmalls has picked Dog up and slammed him! Dog can't keep hold of the triangle and McSmalls manages to pass to side control!

Dog is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. McSmalls is defending well though. Dog let's go of the attempt for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's time! Dog's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


McSmalls throws a sloppy head kick and Dog moves out of range easily.

McSmalls shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McSmalls was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
McSmalls wants to stand but Dog has his arm trapped.
Dog is trying to improve his position.
Dog is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
McSmalls content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Dog wants to get back to his feet.
Dog is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McSmalls scores with a couple of nice shots.
McSmalls throwing shots but Dog is blocking nicely.
Dog pushes McSmalls off looking to stand but McSmalls dives back in and keeps control.
Dog wants to control but McSmalls is keeping busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dog is looking to escape.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McSmalls lands a nice short elbow.
McSmalls works his way into full mount!

McSmalls postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Dog looks a forlorn figure.
McSmalls trying to control but Dog is having none of it.

McSmalls jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dog manages to avoid the submission attempt.
McSmalls lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
McSmalls tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Tiny McSmalls has got the better of the ground game so far.

McSmalls remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

McSmalls lands a few punches from side control.

McSmalls has an Americana. Dog didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! McSmalls is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if McSmalls hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
