The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, William Gold and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Thlekbuidi is defended easily by Weidman.
Weidman keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Weidman misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Thlekbuidi fails with the takedown.
Anderson Weidman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ragner Thlekbuidi.
Weidman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thlekbuidi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Weidman tries to get to full guard but Thlekbuidi has control of the leg.
Weidman wants to get back to his feet.
Thlekbuidi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weidman is just riding it out for now. Thlekbuidi eventually gives up the hold.
Thlekbuidi wants to stand up but Weidman has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Thlekbuidi is trying for a kimura here. Weidman looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Thlekbuidi wins by kimura!
