The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moretti moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Moretti looks to land a combination but Baggins avoids it well.
Moretti misses the shot to the body.

Moretti moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Baggins goes down! Can Moretti finish him!?

It looks like Fred Baggins has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Baggins seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Moretti has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Baggins is proving hard to escape from.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Sonny Moretti hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Baggins avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Moretti throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Moretti slips a jab and a cross from Baggins.
Baggins swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The fighters circling - Baggins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Moretti waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Baggins. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Baggins to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baggins pulls Moretti in close to prevent any damage.
Moretti must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

A looping hook to the body misses from Moretti. Baggins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Baggins is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Moretti just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Baggins has gone limp and this one is over!
