The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McClane lands a two punch combo.
McClane scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McClane throws a series of punches but gale moves out of range.
McClane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Horrible takedown by gale or perhaps it was just good defense by McClane which made him look bad.

McClane misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McClane cracks gale with a good jab.

McClane throws a nice looking combination but gale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McClane throws a right and a left that both miss.
McClane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by gale.
McClane throws a series of punches but gale moves out of range.
McClane drops gale with a right and a left! McClane comes rushing in but gale regains his composure and manages to keep McClane in guard.

gale is looking to sweep but instead, McClane has passed into half guard.
gale seems to have recovered his senses.

McClane wants to pass to mount but gale is defending the position.
gale tries to roll over but McClane keeps him under control.
gale is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

gale is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but McClane pulls his head out easily.
gale wants to get back to his feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McClane misses with a two punch combination.
gale tries to move into range but McClane moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McClane throws out a powerful jab.
McClane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
gale has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
gale looks gassed!
gale throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McClane's waist but McClane gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing gale off to one side.
John McClane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McClane throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
McClane lands a jab to the head.
McClane cracks gale with a hook to the temple - gale is on wobbly legs here! McClane swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! gale falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! McClane wins by TKO!
