The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nastula fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Horrible takedown by Oneil or perhaps it was just good defense by Nastula which made him look bad.
Oneil defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Nastula.
Nastula misses with a takedown attempt - Oneil sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shaquille Oneil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Nastula.
Nastula looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nastula shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oneil sprawls well. Oneil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nastula gets slowly back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nastula.
Nastula shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Nastula shoots in but Oneil avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nastula tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Oneil swivels and escapes.
Oneil lands a big head kick that sends Nastula tumbling to the mat! Oneil takes a step backwards and waves Nastula back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nastula looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oneil is fending him off so far but Nastula persists. Nope, Oneil circles away and we're back to standing.
Oneil tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nastula swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck for Oneil with that takedown attempt.
Nastula will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Nastula shoots in but Oneil avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nastula shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Oneil as he jumps to the side.

and Oneil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nastula is rocked!
Nastula blocks a head kick by Oneil.
Nastula is still on wobbly legs! Can Oneil finish him?
A head kick misses from Oneil.
Nastula shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Oneil sprawls well. Oneil wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nastula gets slowly back to his feet.
Nastula closes the distance and clinches up with Oneil, looking for a takedown. Nastula pushes Oneil against the cage but Oneil circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nastula looks winded!
Oneil ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Nastula's jaw. Nastula's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Oneil does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shaquille Oneil!
