Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henry Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoichi Sumachi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Henry Cruz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Henry Cruz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Cruz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sumachi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Cruz.
Sumachi is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cruz sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Henry Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sumachi misses with an uppercut. Cruz saw that one coming.
Cruz throws a hook but Sumachi blocks it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cruz cracks Sumachi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooh!!! Cruz has knocked Sumachi down with a huge combo! Cruz steps away and waves a wobbly Sumachi back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Cruz connects with a combination that backs up Sumachi into the cage. Cruz lands a flurry of punches that gets past Sumachi's guard. Sumachi is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Cruz bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
