The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ehrenholm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Horton is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ehrenholm has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Horton wants to get back to his feet but Ehrenholm is dominant here and he's now got Horton's back!

Ehrenholm is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Ehrenholm fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Horton to the ground. Ehrenholm is now in Horton's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Horton is on top in guard.

Ehrenholm has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Horton can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Horton wants to control from the top but Ehrenholm keeps moving.

Ehrenholm escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Horton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Marcus Ehrenholm overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Horton is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Ehrenholm seems to be working for a kimura but Horton defends the submission attempt.

Ehrenholm seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Horton for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Marcus Ehrenholm.

Horton punishes Ehrenholm's body with a nice straight punch.
Horton avoids the head kick by Ehrenholm.
Horton tries to close the distance and clinch but Ehrenholm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ehrenholm bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Ehrenholm goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Horton has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ehrenholm but great work by Horton.

Horton creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ehrenholm sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are battling for position here. Ehrenholm manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
