PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 43 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Johnson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joseph Sandoval!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sandoval does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sandoval stops a takedown attempt from Johnson.
Sandoval digs a right hand underneath Johnson's ribcage. Johnson let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Johnson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sandoval prevents it.
Sandoval lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Johnson wants to take the fight to the mat but Sandoval manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Johnson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sandoval tries to avoid it but Johnson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sandoval to the ground. Sandoval escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
