The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JonesJr scores with the left hand. Green knows he should have avoided that one.

Green fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with JonesJr, pushing him back against the ropes.

Green has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but JonesJr regains guard immediately.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
JonesJr wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Green is looking to work some ground and pound but JonesJr has wrist control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
JonesJr misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Green.
JonesJr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Green throws a left that rocks JonesJr and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Green dives into side control, looking to finish! Can JonesJr regain composure!

Green wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by JonesJr, who protects the arm well.
Oh JonesJr is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Green lands a strong strike to the head of JonesJr. That's dazed him! Green looking to finish here. JonesJr is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Green lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
