Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Adamsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichiro Takahashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Takahashi's choice of entrance music: 暗殺者. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Adamsky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ichiro Takahashi!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Adamsky.
Adamsky lands with a cross.
Takahashi checks a leg kick nicely.
Takahashi throws a low kick, looking for Adamsky's leg but Adamsky calmly moves out of range.
Takahashi throws a chopping leg kick but Adamsky manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Takahashi bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Takahashi cracks Adamsky with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Adamsky throws a head kick that misses.
Adamsky lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Takahashi counters with a single leg into guard. Adamsky didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Takahashi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Adamsky is keeping the position for now.

Adamsky is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Adamsky looking to hit a scissor sweep but Takahashi is one step ahead there.
Takahashi looking to sit in guard and control but Adamsky gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Adamsky controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Takahashi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Adamsky doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Adamsky manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Takahashi is looking for a triangle but Adamsky pushes his legs off easily.
Takahashi looking for a sweep. Not yet Takahashi, not yet.
Adamsky is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Takahashi throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Adamsky escapes and throws Takahashi's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Takahashi is trying to control Adamsky's posture but Adamsky avoids it.
Takahashi gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Takahashi is trying to get back to full guard.
Adamsky content to control rather than advance.
Takahashi manages to get to full guard.

Adamsky tries to stand but Takahashi is controlling from the bottom.
Takahashi throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Takahashi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Adamsky is aware though and is defending well.
Adamsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Takahashi is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Takahashi wants to control the position but Adamsky says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Takahashi tries to get to full guard but Adamsky has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ichiro Takahashi will probably get the nod.
That's time! Adamsky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Some bone on bone action there as Takahashi checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Adamsky throws a head kick that misses.
Takahashi lands a two punch combo.
Adamsky throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Takahashi on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Takahashi moves away from the strike by Adamsky.
Nice straight punches there by Takahashi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Takahashi.
Takahashi avoids the head kick by Adamsky.
Adamsky misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Adamsky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Takahashi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Adamsky thumps Takahashi with a low kick.
Takahashi misses with a looping right.
Adamsky's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Takahashi connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adamsky scrambles back to his feet.
Mike Adamsky is winning the standup battle so far.
Adamsky misses with a jab, cross combination.
Takahashi throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Adamsky's head.
Adamsky is looking to score with low kicks.
Adamsky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mike Adamsky is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Takahashi blocks the body kick.
Adamsky swings for the body but Takahashi moves out of range.
Takahashi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Adamsky gets caught flat footed, as Takahashi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Adamsky uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Takahashi.
Adamsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takahashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Adamsky.
Adamsky lands a nice looking body kick.
Adamsky looks for the body kick but Takahashi saw that one coming.
Adamsky tries a head kick but it misses.
Takahashi slips a jab from Adamsky.
Takahashi lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Ichiro Takahashi showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!


Takahashi tries to land a front kick but Adamsky steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Adamsky lands a leg kick that knocks Takahashi off balance momentarily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Adamsky. Takahashi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Takahashi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Adamsky.
Takahashi takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Adamsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takahashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Adamsky.
Adamsky tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takahashi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Adamsky feints and then cracks Takahashi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Takahashi down.
Takahashi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Takahashi lands a really nice looking cross but Adamsky seems unphased.

and Takahashi counters with a single leg into guard. Adamsky didn't expect that.

Mike Adamsky has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Takahashi trying to control but Adamsky is working from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Takahashi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Takahashi wants to control from the top but Adamsky keeps moving.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Ichiro Takahashi wasn't active enough on the ground.
Adamsky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Adamsky tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mike Adamsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adamsky dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Takahashi. That did some damage!

Adamsky has closed the distance and engaged Takahashi in a clinch.
Takahashi drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Adamsky gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Takahashi misses with a punch to the body.
Adamsky misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Adamsky blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Takahashi's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mike Adamsky.
I think Takahashi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
