The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Winnfield misses.
Jules Winnfield seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A telegraphed right hand from Winnfield misses the target.
Fujinami uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Winnfield.
Fujinami fails to land the takedown.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Fujinami checks a leg kick.
Fujinami staying out of range there.
Fujinami shoots in but no luck this time.
Fujinami takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Fujinami throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Winnfield tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Fujinami is in Winnfield's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Winnfield is looking to stand up but Fujinami isn't so interested in that idea.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fujinami accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Fujinami is working Winnfield over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Winnfield manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Fujinami slips a straight right by Winnfield.
Winnfield throws a head kick that misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Winnfield. Fujinami does a little dance to reset his feet.

Winnfield tries a head kick but it misses.
Winnfield throws a right hand that Fujinami ducks under and follows up with a left that Fujinami also avoids with ease.
Winnfield misses with a wild body shot.
Fujinami dives in and grabs Winnfield's left leg, looking for a takedown. Winnfield pushes down on Fujinami's head and hops out.

Winnfield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Winnfield digs a good hook to Fujinami's body.
Fujinami shoots for a double leg takedown but Winnfield sprawls well. He's pushed Fujinami's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Winnfield throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Winnfield drops Fujinami with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fujinami looks back up at him and smiles so Winnfield waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Fujinami is rocked!

It looks like Tatsumi Fujinami has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Winnfield fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Oh Fujinami is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Winnfield thows a body shot but no joy.
Fujinami seems to have got his legs back now.
Winnfield throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A head kick misses from Winnfield.

Winnfield wants to slow Fujinami down by chopping away at his legs.

Winnfield misses the jab.
Winnfield closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Fujinami! Winnfield dives in looking to finish! Fujinami is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
