Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Hokkanen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Paw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jason Paw will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paw uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hokkanen.

Hokkanen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Paw to the ground. Hokkanen is now in Paw's guard.
Hokkanen prevents Paw from getting back to his feet.
Paw wants to sweep here but Hokkanen controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hokkanen postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Hokkanen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Paw looking for a guillotine here but Hokkanen defends easily.

Hokkanen keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Paw's head.

Hokkanen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Paw's shoulder. That is not cool.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hokkanen is landing with some decent strikes but Paw is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Paw tries to reverse the position but Hokkanen maintains control.

Hokkanen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Paw is bucking up trying to escape but Hokkanen cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
