The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jom jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jim Jom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jom listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Scum takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Jom dips to his left and cracks Scum with an uppercut!
Jom scores with a hook.
Scum throws a lazy right hand but Jom sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A jab from Jom misses.
Jom is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Jom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Scum's head.
Jom cracks Scum with a good jab.
Jom misses with a wild combination.
Scum looks to land a combination but Jom avoids it well.
Jom lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Jom smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Jom misses with a hook.
Jom takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Jom lands a nice shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Scum keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jom.
Jom scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Decent striking displayed by Jom there.
Scum closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
