The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

LeLaurant fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bakanori Jr looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Bakanori Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. LeLaurant was covering up waiting for the punch and Bakanori Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bakanori Jr is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! LeLaurant is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! LeLaurant has escaped and now he's on top!

LeLaurant does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Bakanori Jr dives in and grabs LeLaurant's left leg, looking for a takedown. LeLaurant pushes down on Bakanori Jr's head and hops out.
LeLaurant closes the distance and lands a one-two.
