The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Easton, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Freely shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Easton as he avoids it easily.
Freely keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Freely shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Easton but Easton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Easton scores with a hook to the body. Freely takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Freely looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cody Easton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of IP Freely.
Freely shoots in but Easton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Freely misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Freely tries to score a power double leg takedown but Easton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Freely somewhat.
Easton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Easton lands with a good body shot.
Easton looks to land a body kick but Freely moved away.

and Freely counters with a nice double leg into side control. Easton won't be happy with that.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Easton parries the strikes from Freely easily there. Freely is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Easton to escape.
Easton is trying to get back to half guard.
Easton wants to get back to his feet but Freely drags him back down.
Easton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Easton tries to get out of the position.
Freely working the body and head with strikes.
Easton dodges the ground and pound from Freely.
Easton wants to control but Freely postures up.

Freely is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Easton knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Freely working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Freely tries to score with some ground and pound. Easton controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Easton tries to bench press Freely off him but Freely keeps the position.
Freely cracks Easton with a big elbow.

Freely has hold of Easton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Easton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Freely cranks the arm and Easton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Easton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
