Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mr Jiu Jitsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Chabala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Matt Chabala!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jiu Jitsu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chabala.
Matt Chabala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chabala lands with a thumping leg kick.

Chabala really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jiu Jitsu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Matt Chabala will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jiu Jitsu bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chabala swings for the body but Jiu Jitsu moves out of range.
Jiu Jitsu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Chabala sprawls well. Chabala wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jiu Jitsu gets slowly back to his feet.

Jiu Jitsu uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chabala.

That kick from Chabala tenderised Jiu Jitsu's leg. Jiu Jitsu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Jiu Jitsu just misses with a punch to the body.
Chabala fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Mr Jiu Jitsu is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chabala closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Jiu Jitsu is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chabala pulls his head out easily.

Jiu Jitsu is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Chabala rolls with it to try and escape but Jiu Jitsu cranks on the arm and Chabala is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mr Jiu Jitsu!
