Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kesuke Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartek Pietrzak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miyagi comes to the ring accompanied by Your'e The Best Around. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 3 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, Kesuke Miyagi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bartek Pietrzak!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A bone on bone clash there as Pietrzak blocks the leg kick.
Pietrzak lands a nice looking body shot.
Pietrzak shoots in and drives through. Miyagi sprawls well.
Pietrzak smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Pietrzak throws a wild body kick that Miyagi sees coming a mile off.
Miyagi scores with a head kick. Pietrzak tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
A slapping leg kick lands for Miyagi.
Pietrzak moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Pietrzak working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Pietrzak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Miyagi with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Pietrzak closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Miyagi's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Miyagi is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pietrzak is controlling him.
Pietrzak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Miyagi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pietrzak has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

and Pietrzak cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pietrzak throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Miyagi on the side of the head.

Bartek Pietrzak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pietrzak is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miyagi.

and Pietrzak counters with a thumping low kick.
Miyagi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pietrzak is able to avoid easily.
Miyagi throws the kick towards the body but Pietrzak avoids it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bartek Pietrzak dominated that round.
That's time! Miyagi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Miyagi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Miyagi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pietrzak.

Pietrzak has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Miyagi.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Pietrzak throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miyagi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pietrzak.

Miyagi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pietrzak is defending well for now.

Pietrzak's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kesuke Miyagi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pietrzak feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

I've got Pietrzak winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
