Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Boban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Kimmo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boban comes to the cage accompanied by Ana Tijoux - 1977. Kimmo has chosen Roni Size-Bite The Bullet as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mirko Boban!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Kimmo!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimmo throws a head kick that misses.
Boban throws a chopping leg kick but Kimmo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Kimmo misses with a wild combination.
Kimmo moves out of range as Boban strikes.
Kimmo blocks a jab.
Kimmo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Boban is looking to clinch.
Kimmo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kimmo lands with a nice body kick.
Kimmo gets a clinch.
Kimmo tries to land knees in the clinch but Boban avoids the damage to the body.
Kimmo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Boban is defending well for now.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Kimmo takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boban has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kimmo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Boban avoiding damage as Kimmo throws knees to the body.
Boban is trying to maintain a safe position but Kimmo gets an underhook and turns Boban into the cage.
Kimmo lands with a left to the head.
Kimmo unloads a knee to the mid-section. Boban lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Kimmo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boban is looking to clinch but Kimmo is avoiding it.
Kimmo lands with a slapping head kick.
Boban just misses with a punch to the body.
A punch lands to the side of Boban 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Boban tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Kimmo counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kimmo.
Kimmo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Boban blocks it with crossed arms.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kimmo stalling against the cage.
Kimmo lands an elbow inside that Boban shrugs off.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Boban is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kimmo can't fight it off and eventually Boban manages to take the fight to the floor. Kimmo looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kimmo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Boban throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Kimmo's body to avoid the submission. Kimmo has instead reached around Boban's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Kimmo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Michael Kimmo!
