Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Serrano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Silva!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Serrano will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Serrano seems to be working for a kimura but Silva defends the submission attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
