Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Frenandez!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Frenandez.
White fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Danga de danga de dang - Frenandez scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Ryan White has been cut.
White shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan White. That's going to take a lot out of him.
White shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frenandez as he avoids it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Frenandez.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Frenandez tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
White gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The fighters are battling for position here. White manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Frenandez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with White. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

White looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frenandez doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frenandez manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round.
White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Frenandez defends well.
White could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
White has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Frenandez doesn't defend quickly enough and White has managed to lock this one up! Can Frenandez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to White on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ryan White!
